The HDT-8 is built with five aluminum profiles and a lifting carriage that are guided along by nylon rollers. The sections are operated with a steel cable through a manual double handed winch with a disc brake. Via the SRS (Sequence Retainer System) sections raise one after another and remain fixed in the required position thanks to the exclusive ALS security system. This security system locks the sections of the towerlift automatically at working height, meaning the cable does not have to support the weight and makes it impossible for the load to fall. The aluminum sections are fixed on a solid steel base provided with swivel wheels for ease of transport.
